4.47

疏「設分三十」，第三揀濫也。云何揀耶？麁相約教而說，三身為權、十身為實。若不知三身即是十身，為不融前，權外立實，故失經宗。

Regarding the Commentary's statement: 'Even if dividing them into thirty': this is the third, screening out confusions. How does it screen them out? Spoken coarsely according to the doctrines, the three bodies are provisional and the ten bodies are real. If one does not know that the three bodies are themselves the ten bodies, because one fails to integrate the former and establishes the real outside the provisional, one loses the fundamental tenet of the sūtra.
