43.72

疏「住無得現，現即無得」者，住無所得，即空觀也；示無所得身等，假觀也。故云住無得現。現即無得上二不二中道觀也，故云「寂用無礙斯為中道」。從「若異後」下，結彈古人。以《瓔珞》三慧別配得中道慧，是相待中，非得中也。

Regarding the commentary's “Dwelling in non-attainment is manifesting; manifesting is non-attainment”: dwelling in non-attainment is the contemplation of emptiness; manifesting a body of non-attainment and so forth is the contemplation of the conventional. Hence it is said: “dwelling in non-attainment is manifesting.” “Manifesting is non-attainment” is the contemplation of the non-dual middle way of the two above; hence it is said: “Quiescence and function being unhindered—this is the middle way.” From “If it differs from the latter” downward, it concludes by criticizing the ancients. Because the three wisdoms of the Yingluo are separately matched to the wisdom attaining the middle way, this is a relative middle, not the attainment of the middle.
