疏「何者？若偏觀」下，出次第三觀過相。有則定有，定有著常，以離空故。定無著斷，以離有故。離二明中，故是相待。

In the commentary, from “Why so? If one one-sidedly contemplates” downward, it presents the erroneous characteristics of the sequential three contemplations. If there is existence, it is definitively existent; definitive existence clings to permanence because it is separated from emptiness. Definitive non-existence clings to annihilation because it is separated from existence. Illuminating the middle through separating from the two is therefore relative.
