44.40

疏「同佛善根」者，初偈頌最上，同一佛性是調御故，次偈頌離翳，次三偈頌已辦及善變化，後偈頌為依怙，與佛化他故。

Regarding the commentary's "Sharing the Buddha's roots of goodness": The first verse restates the supreme, since sharing the one Buddha-nature is being a tamer; the next verse restates freedom from obscurations; the next three verses restate what has been accomplished and skillful transformations; the last verse restates acting as a refuge, transforming others together with the Buddha.
