疏「各有業用」者，如信以能除不信濁為業，戒以遮防破戒蔽為業，慚以對治無慚、止息惡行為業，愧以對治無愧、止息惡行為業，聞以能破無知為業，施以止慳為業，慧以破癡為業，念以治忘念為業，持以治忘失為業，辯以治於謇訥為業。

Regarding the commentary's "Each has its activity and function": for example, faith takes the ability to eliminate the turbidity of disbelief as its activity; morality takes guarding against and preventing the obscuration of moral breach as its activity; shame takes remedying shamelessness and stopping evil actions as its activity; remorse takes remedying lack of remorse and stopping evil actions as its activity; learning takes the ability to destroy ignorance as its activity; giving takes stopping stinginess as its activity; wisdom takes destroying delusion as its activity; mindfulness takes remedying forgetfulness as its activity; retention takes remedying loss as its activity; and eloquence takes remedying hesitation in speech as its activity.
