48.10

疏「言勸請者」，此牒第三行也。下疏解釋。「除謗法」下，先明成益。二「聲聞自度」下，來意。三「此文略」下，辯相。

As for the commentary's phrase "As for entreaty": this takes up the third practice. Below, the commentary explains it. From "eradicate slandering the Dharma" downward, it first clarifies the accomplished benefit. Second, from "the śrāvaka saves oneself" downward, is the purpose of its appearance. Third, from "this text is brief" downward, distinguishes the characteristics.
