48.37

疏「此之二段反覆相成」者，由見實故離妄，如見杌則不見鬼；由離妄故見實，若無鬼見，是見木故。

The Commentary states: "These two sections mutually complement each other through reciprocal exposition." Because of seeing the real, one departs from the false, just as seeing a tree stump means one does not see a ghost; because of departing from the false, one sees the real, for if there is no vision of a ghost, one sees the wood.
