疏「第二請中三家請殊」等者，疏文有四：初總科為三、二出三所以、三明三次第、四釋上首請。疏「所以要三家者」下，第二出三所以。於中三：初總明顯深、二「眾首顯揚」下別明、三「前之」下結歎。二中有四：一正助分別、二相因分別、三主伴分別、四因果分別。今初，眾首為正，餘二為助。

Regarding the commentary’s "Second, in the request, the requests of the three parties differ," etc.: the text of the commentary has four parts: first, a general rubric into three; second, setting forth the three reasons; third, clarifying the sequence of the three; fourth, explaining the request of the principal. From the commentary’s "The reason why three parties are required" downward is the second part, setting forth the three reasons. Within this there are three: first, generally revealing the profundity; second, from "The leader of the assembly reveals and extols" downward, specifically clarifying; third, from "The previous" downward, concluding with praise. In the second, there are four: first, discrimination of primary and assisting; second, discrimination of mutual dependence; third, discrimination of host and companion; fourth, discrimination of cause and effect. Now in the first, the leader of the assembly is the primary, and the other two are assisting.
