59.78

疏「約邪婬說」者，難言：四重之婬，境合便犯，故無想疑。邪婬之戒，豈無想疑？謂自妻他妻想、他妻自妻想，及二生疑，豈無不犯？故今通云：據此即有。今顯菩薩於其自妻決修梵行，故不於邪婬而說具緣。

Regarding the Commentary's "Stated with respect to sexual misconduct": an objection states: "In sexual misconduct among the four grave offenses, uniting with the object immediately constitutes an offense, so there is no perception or doubt. But in the precept against sexual misconduct, how could there be no perception or doubt? Meaning, perceiving one's own wife as another's wife, perceiving another's wife as one's own wife, and the arising of doubt regarding the two—how could there not be non-offense?" Therefore, it is now resolved: based on this, it indeed exists. But now it reveals that the bodhisattva definitely cultivates brahmacarya toward his own wife; therefore, the complete conditions are not stated with respect to sexual misconduct.
