疏「得三地滿勝進分禪」者，淨禪有四：一退分、二住分、三勝進分、四決定分。今即第三四，即下於四地決定能發。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "attaining the dhyāna of the portion of superior progress completing the third stage": pure dhyāna has four [portions]: 1. the portion of regression, 2. the portion of abiding, 3. the portion of superior progress, 4. the portion of determination. Now this is the third; the fourth is that which is definitely able to be generated below in the fourth stage.
