疏「若望後厭分」下，第二料揀。於中三：初慧行料揀。二「於中初日夜」下，能所求料揀。「以顯勤行」者，此即三地能求法行。下九皆是所求修行之法。三「又此十句」下，能所受分別。言「思通教義」者，始依教思，終則依義。

Regarding the commentary's passage from "If looking forward to the subsequent portion of revulsion..." onward: this is the second, discriminating. Within this there are three: 1. discriminating the practice of wisdom; 2. from "Within this, the initial 'day and night'..." onward, discriminating the seeker and the sought. "In order to show diligent practice": this is the practice of seeking the Dharma of the third stage. The nine below are all dharmas of cultivation that are sought. 3. From "Moreover, these ten phrases..." onward, distinguishing the receiver and the received. The statement "thinking applies to both teaching and meaning" means that initially one reflects based on the teaching, and ultimately one relies on the meaning.
