60.32

疏「惡慧惡欲」者，論云「惡意惡心，梵云末那，此翻為意。梵云末底，此翻為慧也。」聲勢相近，譯者之誤。今經為正。

Regarding the Commentary's 'evil cognition (durbuddhi) and evil desire': the treatise states: 'Evil intention and evil mind. In Sanskrit it is *manas*, which is translated here as intention (意). In Sanskrit it is *mati*, which is translated here as cognition (慧).' Their phonetic articulation is close, which caused an error by the translator. The present sūtra is correct.
