疏「三以勝定」下，第三會取第一二種所發以為能發。於中分二：先正立、後「故下論云」下引證。於中四：一引本論；二引《唯識》；三「謂由得」下，釋《唯識》意以成前義；四「故上」下，引上本分成《唯識》義。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "Third, taking superior concentration": third, synthesizing and taking the two kinds emanated previously as that which can emanate. Within this, it divides into two: first, directly positing it; second, from "therefore the treatise below states" onward, adducing proof. Within this are four [parts]: 1. citing the root treatise; 2. citing the *Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi*; 3. from "meaning that due to obtaining" onward, explaining the intended meaning of the *Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi* to establish the preceding interpretation; 4. from "therefore above" onward, citing the root division above to establish the meaning of the *Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi*.
