疏「二以聞持能發」下，即第二前所發以分能所。於中三：初正立、二「以聞法竟」下以聞釋成、三「故瑜伽」下引證結成。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "Second, taking retention of what is heard as that which can emanate": this is the second, distinguishing that which can emanate and that which is emanated from the perspective of what was emanated previously. Within this are three [parts]: first, directly positing it; second, from "because having heard the Dharma" onward, explaining and establishing it through hearing; third, from "therefore the Yogācāra" onward, adducing proof to conclude and establish it.
