疏「後一攝果」，即經「無惱」。先依論釋。故論云「欲色界中正受善果無苦惱事」，疏別配釋。後「故修慈」下，引證廣釋。於中三：初舉彼經、次「然此中」下束成諸果、後「修一慈」下結示勸修。「三報」，即現生後。「五果」，即異熟等。

In the Commentary, "The latter one gathers the fruits" corresponds to the sūtra's "without affliction." First, it is explained according to the treatise. Thus the treatise says: "In the desire and form realms, directly experiencing good fruits, there are no matters of suffering and affliction." The Commentary matches and explains this separately. Afterwards, from "Therefore, cultivating loving-kindness" onwards, it cites proof and explains extensively. Within this are three: first, it cites that sūtra; next, from "However, herein" onwards, it bundles them into various fruits; finally, from "cultivating a single loving-kindness" onwards, it concludes and encourages cultivation. "The three retributions" are present, next life, and subsequent lives. "The five fruits" are the vipāka fruit and so forth.
