疏「然觀不淨等通於大小」等下，第七明觀相同異。於中有四：一正明異相、二引證成立、三別示觀相、四顯通非局。今初，引《瑜伽》釋小乘，略指大乘具二諦修，然其世俗修多同小乘，但知緣假不計為實，則異小耳。

Regarding the commentary's "However, contemplating impurity, etc., is common to both the Great and Small [Vehicles]…" and so on, this is the seventh [point], clarifying the similarities and differences in the characteristics of contemplation. Within this there are four: first, directly clarifying the differing characteristics; second, citing proof to establish them; third, separately demonstrating the characteristics of contemplation; fourth, revealing that it is comprehensive and not restricted. Now, first, citing the Yogācārabhūmi to explain the Hīnayāna, it briefly indicates that the Mahāyāna is endowed with the cultivation of the two truths; however, its conventional cultivation is largely identical to the Hīnayāna, differing from the Small Vehicle only in that it knows objects are conventional designations and does not conceptualize them as real.
