疏「過於世間慈父」等者，《智論》云「離別常人易，離別知識難。離別知識易，離別親戚難。離別親戚易，離別自身難。」親戚即父母等，故云過也，故須勤勇。

Regarding the commentary's "surpassing worldly compassionate fathers" and so forth: the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-upadeśa states, "Parting from ordinary people is easy, but parting from spiritual friends is difficult. Parting from spiritual friends is easy, but parting from relatives is difficult. Parting from relatives is easy, but parting from one's own body is difficult." Relatives are parents and so forth; hence it says "surpassing"; therefore, one must be diligent and vigorous.
