疏「斷行二字總顯修相」等者，對下依止厭等別明修相，故云總明。對下成就神足正明於果，故云「亦修之果」。

Regarding the Commentary's statement: "The two characters 'abandonment' and 'practice' generally reveal the characteristics of cultivation" and so forth: contrasted with the particular explanation below of the characteristics of cultivation relying on revulsion and so forth, it is called "clarifying generally." Contrasted with directly clarifying the fruit below through "accomplishing the bases of psychic power," it is called "also the fruit of cultivation."
