疏「殺生祀祠求梵福」者，即《智論》、《百論》皆說，外道殺馬祀梵天，祈生梵世。今以慈悲喜捨四無量心能生梵天，治其邪見。

Regarding the commentary's phrase, "killing living beings in sacrifices to seek the blessings of Brahmā": as explained in both the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa and the Śatakaśāstra, non-Buddhists kill horses to sacrifice to Brahmā, praying to be born in the realm of Brahmā. Now, through the four immeasurable minds of loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity, one is able to be born in the realm of Brahmā, which counteracts their false views.
