疏「上之七類總以喻顯」下，即第五段。然《婆沙》、《智論》皆有此文，並以樹況於道品，故名道樹。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "the above seven categories are generally revealed through metaphors" and so on: this is the fifth section. Both the Mahāvibhāṣā and the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa have this text, both comparing the branches of the path to a tree; hence it is called the tree of the path.
