63.60

疏「上五大小並同」者，結前五淨，生後二淨。二淨大小開合不同，在位亦別。於中有二：先約小乘、後約大乘。於大乘中，先行、後位。約行同時，義分斷障即行、斷淨成德，即菩提分法上上淨。

As for the Commentary saying, "The above five are identical in both the Great and Small [Vehicles]": this concludes the preceding five purifications and introduces the subsequent two purifications. The expansion and combination of the two purifications differ between the Great and Small [Vehicles], and their assignments to stages also differ. There are two parts within this: first, in terms of the Small Vehicle; second, in terms of the Great Vehicle. Within the Great Vehicle: first, practice; second, stages. In terms of practice, they are simultaneous; conceptually divided, the severing of obstacles is practice, while the purity of severance becoming virtue is the supreme purification of the factors of bodhi.
