疏「若約位分」下，二約位，即增微分別。七地已還雖亦進行，斷障義增；八地已上非不斷障，進行多故。是以二位各得一名。

As for the Commentary from "If divided in terms of stages" onward: second, in terms of stages, that is, distinguishing predominance and subtlety. From the seventh stage down, although one also advances in practice, the sense of severing obstacles predominates; from the eighth stage up, it is not that one does not sever obstacles, but because advancing in practice is manifold, each of the two stages receives one designation.
