疏「無學之智如是而知」者，是釋經智字，為答外問：滅是滅理，何得言智，故此釋云「意在取滅」。

Regarding the commentary's "the cognition of non-learning is known like this," this explains the word "cognition" in the sūtra, answering an external question: "Cessation is the principle of cessation; how can one speak of cognition?" Hence this explanation states, "the intention lies in grasping cessation."
