63.87

疏「二欲求眾生受欲者」，欲求開二：一縱情五欲不懼當報，是造惡行者；二但耽五欲未必造惡，今是此人。順境生貪，違則生瞋；癡迷上二，不言習善行者。善行多在有求之中，亦以過輕，故略不說。亦得含在受欲之中。疏「觀如實中」下，對前料揀，可知。

Regarding the commentary's: "Second, beings seeking desires experience desires": Seeking desires is divided into two. First, those who give free rein to the five desires without fearing retribution in the future; these are makers of evil deeds. Second, those who merely indulge in the five desires without necessarily making evil deeds; here it refers to these persons. When encountering agreeable circumstances, greed arises; when circumstances conflict, hatred arises; and through delusion they are infatuated with these two. The commentary does not speak of those who cultivate good conduct. Good conduct mostly occurs within seeking having [further existences]; also, because its fault is light, it is omitted and not mentioned. It can also be subsumed under experiencing desires. From the commentary's "In contemplating according with reality" downward, it is distinguished against the preceding, which can be understood.
