64.48

疏「初一切智觀」下，第二別釋三觀開合中，初觀有二：先正明、後「所以分三」下出所以。今初，言「十中初門」者，即有支相續門。二「攝第二門中之半」者，即攝歸一心。前半，經云「佛子！此菩薩摩訶薩復作是念：三界所有唯是一心」是也。三「攝餘八門半」者，半即第二一心門中，從「如來於此分別演說」下及盡第十門。

Regarding the Commentary's passage from "First, the contemplation of the knowledge of all aspects" downward: In the second [part], separately explaining the expansion and condensation of the three contemplations, the first contemplation has two parts: first, directly clarifying it; second, from "the reason for dividing into three" downward, presenting the reason. Now for the first: the phrase "the first door among the ten" refers to the door of the continuity of the branches of existence. Second, "subsuming half of the second door" refers to subsuming and returning to the one mind. The first half is where the sūtra says: "Sons of the Buddha! This bodhisattva-mahāsattva further has this thought: whatever exists in the three realms is only one mind." Third, "subsuming the remaining eight doors and a half": the half refers, within the second door of one mind, to the section from "the Tathāgata here distinguishes and expounds" downward, continuing through the end of the tenth door.
