65.19

疏「雖有三和」下，即《俱舍》意。頌云「於三受因異，未了知名觸。」三受因者，謂三受境，境能生受，故名為因。即出胎後三兩歲來即未了三，故不名受。

In the commentary, "Although there is the combination of the three..." reflects the meaning of the Kośa. The verse states: "Before distinguishing the differences in the causes of the three feelings, it is known as contact." The "causes of the three feelings" refers to the objects of the three feelings, for objects can produce feelings and are therefore called causes. That is, for two or three years after emerging from the womb, one has not yet clearly comprehended the three [causes], and therefore it is not called feeling.
