疏「此前四支」下，總結行相。若小乘說，約位明支，五皆現行。今就大乘，識支通種，故四現行。

In the commentary, from "These preceding four links..." onward concludes their operational characteristics. If stated according to the Hīnayāna, explaining the links in terms of stages, all five are active manifestations. Now, according to the Mahāyāna, the link of consciousness encompasses seeds, so four are active manifestations.
