69.46

疏「於中有七」者，七勸如文，亦有總名。一自德未成勸、二生願未滿勸、三本願未充勸、四自德未勝勸、五化業廣大勸、六自己所得法門未窮勸、七少作能成增進眾德勸。疏文有四：一列七名、二「遠公」下敘古釋、三「經無」下辨違順、四「今攝」下申正釋。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "Among them there are seven": The seven exhortations are as in the text, and there are also collective designations: 1. Exhortation that one's own virtues are not yet completed. 2. Exhortation that vows for sentient beings are not yet fulfilled. 3. Exhortation that original vows are not yet completed. 4. Exhortation that one's own virtues are not yet supreme. 5. Exhortation that transformative activities are vast and great. 6. Exhortation that the dharma-gates attained by oneself have not yet been exhausted. 7. Exhortation that by slight effort one can accomplish and advance manifold virtues. The text of the commentary has four parts: 1. Listing the seven names. 2. Below "Master Huiyuan," narrating ancient explanations. 3. Below "The sūtra does not have," distinguishing conflict and accord. 4. Below "Now subsuming," setting forth the correct explanation.
