69.6

疏「次教化智」者，即釋論牒第二段經。先標牒經，具云「以十種智成就法故，得彼內法，生如來家。」言「障淨勝者」，即論牒前。「論釋謂滅三地」下，疏取意釋論。若具，論文言「云何於如來家轉有勢力？依止多聞智障究竟故，除滅智障攝勝故。」今疏已釋。

Regarding the Commentary's "Next, the cognition of converting and guiding": this explains the treatise taking up the second section of the sūtra. First, it identifies and takes up the sūtra, which states in full: "Because of the ten kinds of dharmas of cognitive accomplishment, one obtains that internal Dharma and is born into the Tathāgata's family." The statement "purification and superiority over obstacles" is the treatise taking up the preceding. Below "The treatise's explanation means extinguishing the third ground...", the Commentary captures the sense in explaining the treatise. If fully stated, the treatise text says: "How does one increasingly have power in the Tathāgata's family? Because, relying on extensive learning, the cognitive obstacles are brought to an end, and because the removal and extinction of cognitive obstacles subsumes superiority." Now the Commentary has already explained it.
