69.66

疏「六所有光明」等者，論經名「光明身」，故遠公云：「善軟眾生慈光攝取，剛強眾生威光伏取。」故云「攝伏」。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Sixth, all the radiance..." and so forth: the treatise and sūtra call it the "radiant body". Thus Master Yuan said: "Gentle sentient beings are gathered in by compassionate radiance; stubborn and unyielding sentient beings are subdued by majestic radiance." Hence it is said to "gather in and subdue".
