69.65

疏「四自身舍利住持故」者，舍利梵言，此翻名身。若云舍利羅，此云身骨。論經名「受神力身」，此身是佛攝受眾生，留化神力。故〈出現品〉中醫王延壽喻，正喻力持身也。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Fourth, because the relics of his own body sustain [it]": *śarīra* is Sanskrit, translated here as "body". If one says *śarīrā*, it translates as "bodily bones". The treatise and sūtra call it the "body received through supernormal power". This body is the supernormal power left behind by the Buddha to transform and gather in sentient beings. Therefore, the simile of the king of physicians prolonging life in the "Manifestation Chapter" specifically serves as a simile for the body sustained by power.
