7.39

疏「立三種教」下，三正顯所立。於中，先總、後別。總中，以法相大乘為了，則顯法性為不了。「唐三藏師宗」者，具如《西域記》及《三藏傳》廣說。

From the commentary's "He established three kinds of teachings" downward is the third part, directly revealing what was established. In this, first there is the general, and then the specific. In the general, by taking the Mahāyāna of the characteristics of dharmas as definitive, it reveals that the nature of dharmas is non-definitive. As for "the lineage of the Tang Tripiṭaka Master," this is expounded in detail in the Records of the Western Regions and the Biography of the Tripiṭaka Master.
