70.22

疏「三依根熟」下，五門利他。言根熟者，阿含行成，堪能入證，絕念修行可利生故。四不觀智性盡為邪念。五未知令知。六「邪歸依」者，即諸外道取信耳目，故以通化。七諸佛淨土，超過諸天，無退轉故。「上五」下，結上，以利他竟故。後三易知。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Third, based on the ripening of faculties..." downward: the five gates of benefiting others. Regarding "ripening of faculties": practice according to the Āgamas is accomplished, one is capable of entering realization, and cultivating without conceptual thought can benefit sentient beings. Fourth, not contemplating the nature of wisdom is entirely wrong thought. Fifth, causing what is not yet known to be known. Sixth, "heterodox refuge" refers to various outsiders who place trust through eyes and ears; hence one transforms them through supernormal powers. Seventh, the pure lands of all Buddhas transcend all the heavens because there is no regression. Below "the above five," it concludes the above, because benefiting others is finished. The remaining three are easy to understand.
