71.19

疏「第五例三」下，然解性欲三，略如十力章，廣如〈發心功德品〉。言「性相順入」者，依根生解，依解成性，依性起欲。皆悉相似，名為相順。義理相參，名為順入。以此例根，更不廣說。

Regarding the commentary's phrase “Fifth, analogized to three,” the three of understanding, disposition, and desire are briefly as in the section on the ten powers, and extensive as in the “Chapter on the Merit of the Aspiration for Enlightenment.” Regarding “Nature and characteristics conform and enter”: based on faculties understanding arises; based on understanding disposition is formed; based on disposition desire arises. All of them resemble one another, so they are called conforming. The principles interpenetrate, so they are called entering. By analogizing these to faculties, they are not elaborated further.
