72.13

疏「第五智相」，疏文有五：一分法義、二定境體、三辨通局、四辨其相、五指其源。今初。既以法比分於法義，下約說淺深分詞樂說。比即類也。

In the Commentary, under “Fifth, wisdom characteristics,” the Commentary text has five [parts]: first, dividing dharma and meaning; second, determining the essence of the objective domain; third, distinguishing universal and restricted; fourth, distinguishing their characteristics; fifth, pointing out their source. Now, the first. Since dharma and inference are divided into dharma and meaning, below it divides phrasing and delightful discourse in terms of shallow and deep speech. Inference (bǐ) means analogical classification.
