75.38

疏「二所因謂睡蓋」者，《智論》云「復次如夢中，無喜事而喜、無嗔事而嗔、無怖事而怖。三界眾生亦復如是，無明眠力故，不應嗔而嗔」等。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Second, the cause refers to the hindrance of sleep": the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says, "Furthermore, just as in a dream one rejoices where there is nothing joyful, grows angry where there is nothing anger-provoking, and fears where there is nothing fearful, so too are the sentient beings of the three realms: through the power of the sleep of avidyā, they become angry when they should not become angry," and so on.
