疏「初二合初句世出世異故」者，謂初二句皆合破暗作明，初句滅惡生善，即世間破暗作明，惡即黑暗、善即明故。後句破愚為智，即是出世破暗作明。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "The first two correspond to the first phrase, because mundane and supramundane are distinct": it means that the first two phrases both correspond to destroying darkness and creating light. The first phrase, eradicating evil and generating good, is the mundane destroying darkness and creating light, because evil is darkness and good is light. The subsequent phrase, destroying ignorance to become wisdom, is the supramundane destroying darkness and creating light.
