81.59

疏「即此一念」下，成其九十。先成九世。此一念上雖因前後，而其三世全在一中。一中之三更互相因，故為九世。本之一念，故為十耳。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "This very single thought-moment" downward, it establishes the nine and ten. First it establishes the nine periods of time. Although this single thought-moment depends on before and after, its three periods of time are entirely within the one. The three within the one are further mutually dependent on each other; therefore they make nine periods of time. The fundamental single thought-moment makes ten.
