84.14

疏「十明非定性」者，定性二乘非此宗故。言「信入佛智」者，《法華》第二「汝舍利弗信佛語故，隨順此經，非己智分，此經即佛惠故。」

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Tenth: clarifies that they are not of fixed nature," those of the two vehicles who are of fixed nature do not belong to this tradition. Regarding "entering the Buddha's wisdom through faith," the second chapter of the Lotus Sūtra says: "Śāriputra, it is because you have faith in the Buddha's words that you comply with this sūtra; it is not within the scope of your own cognition, for this sūtra is precisely the Buddha's wisdom."
