疏「法性深廣」下，即大文第四謙讚迴向。上半謙讚，上句讚、下句謙；下半迴向三處，初迴向實際、後二迴向眾生及迴向菩提。然迴向菩提復有二意：一自成佛菩提、二令他成。令他成者，義同迴向眾生。菩薩發心不期自為，即以向他為自益耳，故令含識同證菩提。賢首法師發願偈云：

Regarding the Commentary's phrase from "The dharmatā is profound and vast" onwards: this is the fourth major section, "Humility, Praise, and Pariṇāmanā." The first half is humility and praise: the upper line praises, and the lower line is humble. The second half is pariṇāmanā directed to three destinations: first, pariṇāmanā to bhūtakoṭi; then two lines of pariṇāmanā to sentient beings and pariṇāmanā to bodhi. However, pariṇāmanā to bodhi has two meanings: first, accomplishing Buddha-bodhi oneself; second, causing others to accomplish it. Causing others to accomplish it is identical in meaning to pariṇāmanā to sentient beings. When a bodhisattva gives rise to the mind [for awakening], he does not expect to act for himself, but takes directing [merit] toward others as his own benefit; hence he causes all conscious beings together to realize bodhi. Master Xianshou's verse of aspiration says:
