Regarding the commentary's statement, "the one path and the immeasurable paths": as for the "one path," it is because all unimpeded people leave birth-and-death via a single path. The "Chapter on Leaving the World" states: "The one path is the bodhisattva path, because of not abandoning the sole bodhicitta. The two paths are the bodhisattva path, namely upāya and prajñā." There are three paths, four paths, and up to ten paths. It also states: "Bodhisattvas have immeasurable paths, immeasurable auxiliary paths, immeasurable paths of cultivation, and immeasurable paths of adornment." Each briefly enumerates ten lines; thus the myriad practices that meet the eye are all the bodhisattva path.
