On the commentary's "In minute places there are many sentient beings": this is the "Transcending the World" chapter. In the fifty-fifth fascicle, regarding the second mind among the ten diamond-like Mahāyāna minds of vow, it says: "The bodhisattva-mahāsattva again reflects: 'In the space of a single tip of a hair there are measureless and boundless sentient beings, to say nothing of the entire dharmadhātu; I shall liberate all of them completely through unexcelled nirvāṇa.' This is the second diamond-like Mahāyāna mind of vow." Now saying that there is not a single fine dust mote in the dharmadhātu that is not entered has the same general purport as the space of a single tip of a hair.
