35.13

Regarding the Commentary's "Clearly know that aspiration here encompasses both the beginning and the end": being fully bound and not yet knowing, the initial generation is the beginning, yet it takes practicing for one kalpa or two kalpas before one attains the first abode, prior to which one is merely named a 'bodhisattva of the mark of faith'. Manifestly, it runs through the beginning and the end.
