Regarding the commentary's "This is also explained in terms of the ritual of conversion as having a sequence" and below: this distinguishes agreement and contradiction. Because the doctrine established by this master mostly accords with reason, its contradiction is not argued. Within this, it first sets forth the doctrine established, and then resolves objections. Now for the first. "This is also explained in terms of the ritual of conversion as having a sequence": the converting doctrine within the sudden is no different from that within the gradual; separately explaining the empty and the non-empty is called the gradual, while simultaneously explaining the empty and the non-empty is called the sudden; therefore, it is the ritual of conversion. His third is also in terms of the converting doctrine, distinguishing it from the preceding two; speaking from the predominant aspect, it therefore says, "This is also in terms of the ritual of conversion."
