Among the four: first, revealing differences; second, explaining distinct names; third, categorizing into four by analogy; fourth, clarifying branch distinctions. Now, the first: namely, what was previously cited regarding the four aggregates leaving the lower stage; the phrase 'leaving the lower stage' reveals the difference.
