Regarding the commentary's phrase “In the Great Vehicle, the matured are determinate,” the previous section clarified determinate and indeterminate with respect to karma; here it is clarified with respect to faculties, which are naturally distinct. Furthermore, the previous section clarified difficult and easy to cross over with respect to determinate and indeterminate, whereas here it merely clarifies determinate and indeterminate with respect to matured and unmatured.
