Regarding the Commentary's stating from "If so, it is merely that which is equaled, then 'gold net' has no flaw" onward: third, reconciling and accepting the present sūtra. Therein are also two parts: first, following the Jin sūtra to subsume the present sūtra, meaning that in the Jin sūtra, attaining the tenth ground has the wholesome [roots] of the various cakravartins of the white pure jewel and so forth from the ninth ground and below. That [sūtra] says "white pure jewel net and so forth"; "and so forth" equals the gold and silver wheels and so forth. If that which equals is the gold net, then the tenth ground is not gold. If what is equaled is taken as gold, what fault is there in gold being equaled? Thus the Jin sūtra equals downward from the ninth ground, and the present sūtra equals upward from the midst of the ten dedications; therefore it says there is no flaw, so it is also the wholesome roots of multiple cakravartins, meaning attaining the wholesome roots of cakravartins of the gold net and so forth [equal to] one Gaṅgā's sands; hence it says there is no flaw.
