3.17

第五護身法師立五教者，為於前四教內，真如佛性以為真教，即《涅槃經》是。第五法界教，即《華嚴經》，明法界自在無礙門是。

Fifth, as for Dharma Master Hushen establishing five teachings: within the previous four teachings, he took tathatā and Buddha-nature as the true teaching, which is the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra; fifth is the dharmadhātu teaching, which is the Buddhāvataṃsaka Sūtra, clarifying the gate of the sovereign and unimpeded dharmadhātu.
