5.17

問曰：何故前十住位中同名法慧佛，只舉千佛剎微塵為數，所有菩薩來亦過千世界外，所來世界名同皆名為華，本所事佛同名為月，何故此十行位中本從來國皆同名為慧，本所事佛同名為眼？何意如是？

Question: Why is it that in the preceding stage of the ten abodes, for the buddhas of the same name Dharmamati, the number was given merely as dust motes in a thousand buddha-lands, and all the bodhisattvas who came also arrived from beyond a thousand worlds, the worlds from which they came shared the identical name of Flower, and the buddhas they originally served shared the identical name of Moon; whereas in this stage of the ten practices, the countries from which they originally came all share the identical name of Wisdom, and the buddhas they originally served all share the identical name of Eye? What is the meaning of this?
