6.61

第一《阿彌陀經》淨土者，此為一分取相凡夫未信法空實理，以專憶念，念想不移。以專誠故，其心分淨，得生淨土。是權非實。

Regarding the first, the pure land of the Amitābha Sūtra: this is for ordinary beings who grasp at appearances and have not yet trusted in the real principle of the emptiness of phenomena; by exclusively recollecting and not letting the thought waver, due to focused sincerity, their minds become partially pure and they attain rebirth in the pure land. This is provisional and not ultimate.
